Supervisor and a Crane: August 28, 2019

 

Owen supervised today's work.

 

 

The compactor checked out.

 

Stein and Thomas installed vapor barrier on the roof.

 

 

Then Clyde's crane arrived.

 

 

Owen made sure it set up correctly.

 

 

 

The hook was lowered into position.

 

 

Clyde and Derrick rigged the lift.

 

 

And a glulam was lifted high in the sky.

 

 

Derrick, Leif and Clyde worked together to put the beam into position.

 

 

And then lowered into place.

 

 

This forms the support beam for the roof over the back balcony.

 

 

Another beam dropped into place for the support over the master bedroom balcony.

 

 

Derrick and Leif worked together to position it in place.

 

 

Then one last lift for the beam supporting the roof over the office balcony.
