Pergola, Steel and Gable: July 11, 2019

The crane returned, first to lift the pergola beams into place.

 

 

 

 

To start, move some extra wood up to the second floor to clear space.

 

 

 

 

Then, lift the pergola beams into place.

 

 

 

Next, the crane turned to the steel for framing the garage doors.

 

 

 

I-beams top off the steel columns.

 

 

Which are welded into place.

 

 

Now move the crane to the front of the house.

 

 

 

While Brian and Andrew supervise.

 

 

Rig the gable for the lift.

 

 

And up it goes.

 

 

Right into place.
